Fallon Oils awarded the contract to EGS in 2004. EGS were the main contractors for the project. Darren Clarke in association with Patrick Merrigan, Architect, and Dr Michael Foxe, Consultant, were the golf designers.

Project Description:
The contract comprised of the following:
- 180,000m3 of excavation
- Top soil strip of 55 hectares
- 50,000m3 of peat and rock breaking
- Installation of main drainage system at 15m intervals on all fairways
- Installation of Hunter irrigation system
- Design and build of landscape
The construction of an 18 hole golf course, 4 hole short game practice, putting green and driving range area, and associated landscaping works with Hotel and housing development
